I am a researcher (social sciences) and teacher (languages). My projects include short documentary films, exhibitions and photography. Recently, I have focused on memoryscapes, cultures and politics of remembrance (WWII and the Shoah) – the diversity of memory practices relating to “Victory Day” in the post-Soviet space and Israel.
Currently, I am interested in researching practices of commemoration as they unfold and how they they are born out of and impact a diverse culture. Who is involved, how is it received, and how can the youth participate?
The heart of my professional activities is devising different formats for presenting content to engage a range of different audiences, focusing more and more on youth and work within and outside schools.
